BIOGRAPHY
Erick Silinda well known as M'erk SA was born (27 July) in Mpumalanga Nelspruit, he is a South African kwaito musician. When M'erk was 14 years he started enjoying kwaito music and started writing songs.
His talent were discovered by DJ STAMER also known as MASTER TRAVER MASHABA. He took M'erk to his studio and give him a chance to Release few songs include (SYASHOVA) as a hit Track, where M'erk ft Dj Stamer & Scollyman.
After his hit Track, he never looked back he recorded more tracks. M'erk was first played on air By GTZ from kasi fm and they also play his hit track on Ligwalagwala fm, and Bcr fm . M'erk strive to give and inspirational massage to kwaito, he use his music as a way to encourage youth to achieve their goals. His song (SYASHOVA ) means " hustle " coz nowadays life is tuff, so you have to work hard to archive your dreams.
In 2009 Dj TPZ (bengaboys ) met M'erk and they recorded few tracks together like Uthando lwami, Umatjekisa, sidla Bantwana, just to mention few. At the same month M'erk also Met DJ SBHURANATION & DJ SWEET PAPA they decided to work together as a group of three under STM RECORD /MHM RECORD.
His group achieved great success and was widen seen to be at kwaito fore front. M'erk also worked with the following artists :
